Panel Discussion for the APREA Connect Singapore: 2026 Property Market Outlook – Residential & Beyond

We are pleased to share that our Partner from the Corporate Department, Mr Joel Teo, was invited as a panelist speaker at the APREA Connect Singapore: 2026 Property Market Outlook – Residential & Beyond event. This session was organized by Asia Pacific Real Estate Association (APREA), and held at W Residences Marina View – Singapore Sales Gallery. This session convened industry leaders to discuss key drivers shaping Singapore’s property market, including sectoral performance, macroeconomic conditions, and investor sentiment.

Drawing from his experience advising family offices and private wealth clients, Joel addressed the legal and structuring considerations to real estate investments, such as cross-border implications and tax efficiency, while noting current trends among family offices for real estate investments. He discussed how family offices approach asset allocation, balancing risk management and long-term succession planning objectives. Given increased regulatory scrutiny, Joel also highlighted the broader market considerations that may influence investment strategy, and factors that investors may need to monitor in the real estate market in the coming years.

We thank APREA for the opportunity to contribute to this timely and insightful discussion on Singapore’s property landscape.
