LAUNCH OF COMPETITION & CONSUMER COMMISSION OF SINGAPORE’S AI MARKETS TOOLKIT

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a fast-developing technology which many businesses are eager to adopt to stay ahead of the competition. To help businesses ensure that their use of such technology is ethical and responsible, the Competition & Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCS), in collaboration with the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), launched the AI Markets Toolkit (AIM Toolkit) to help these businesses asses their use of AI systems. This legal update provides an overview of the AIM Toolkit and its relationship with competition law.
