About Juay Kherng KOH

Koh Juay Kherng is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department.

Juay Kherng graduated from the National University of Singapore in 1982. He was admitted to the Singapore bar in 1983 and joined Lee & Lee in 1987. In 1990, he was made a Partner.

Juay Kherng practises Civil and Commercial litigation with emphasis in Banking, Property, Landlord and Tenant, and Trust law. He has more than 20 years of experience in Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution. 

Juay Kherng has acted for listed companies in cases involving passing-off, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of confidence and breach of joint venture agreements. He has also acted for internationally listed Banking and Trust Corporations in the Singapore High Court and Court of Appeal in cases involving the administration and dismantling of trust settlements in Singapore and Australia.

In Banking law, Juay Kherng acts for local financial institutions as well as international banks with branches in Singapore in their mortgagee and banking claims.

In the area of Property law, Juay Kherng advises and acts as Counsel, for both private and listed corporations who are property developers, in defects claim and contractual Vendor/purchaser disputes.

In the field of Landlord & Tenant law, Juay Kherng has for many years provided legal advice and acted as Counsel, to listed corporations who are major property owners and landlords in Singapore, in the protection and enforcement of their rights.

Juay Kherng is a member of the Law Society of Singapore, Singapore Academy of Law and a Fellow of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators.
