About Han Tiong LEE

Lee Han Tiong is a Partner in the Litigation and Dispute Resolution department.

Han Tiong graduated from the University of Singapore in 1981. He was admitted to the Singapore bar in 1982. In 1984, he joined Lee & Lee. In 1988, he was made a Partner.

Han Tiong undertakes a wide range of civil litigation work with particular emphasis on defamation, banking, insolvency, commercial disputes, auditors' negligence and employment law.Some of his recent work includes: -

• acting for various banks in relation to claims against their customers;
• acting for a public listed oil company in relation to its claim against another listed oil company;
• advising liquidators, judicial managers and receivers on insolvency issues;
• acting for a multinational company in its dispute with its senior management employees;
• acting for various housing developers in relation to disputes with purchasers of their developments; and
• acting for majority owners of various housing developments in respect of their en-bloc sales
• involving in the development of the firm's business in the Middle East.
