Lee & Lee's Charity Golf Event on 30 May 2008 Age: 161 days Lee & Lee’s Charity Golf Event at Sentosa Golf Club on 30 May 2008 was a resounding success for all its participants and, most importantly, the Dover Park Hospice and the Singapore Children’s Society.    Mr. Lim Swee Say, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, and Mr. Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Community Development, Youth and Sport, graced the occasion, which saw more than 140 golfers and guests enjoying themselves under the warm Sentosa sun while doing their part for charity. All the golfers received complimentary shirts sponsored by Emirates Airlines. The winners went home with such prizes as Samsung mobile phones and Seiko watches. No one managed to drive away the Jaguar car which was offered as a hole-in-one prize. In all, Lee & Lee raised about S$320,000 for the Dover Park Hospice and Singapore Children’s Society. This sum will assist these charities in funding their programmes for the needy.
